Our story

April 16, 2021.

A long night preparing a report, made Christine walk for a coffee early morning.
Finishing his run Serene wanted to treat himself for a hot chocolate.
Both souls landed in front of a closed door. Lord was opening another door for them!

It was 6am on a Thursday morning.

Christine :- One decision can change your life. That morning of April 16, I was torn between walking to the closer Starbucks or to another a bit far but scenic. Chose the latter.

Serene: - My morning run ended with the Hillsongs’ famous - 'Oceans'. The lyrics was still resonating on my way back home - "Spirit lead me...wherever You would call me".

Christine:- It was beautiful morning, but the impending lockdown had cast its gloom on me. Worries on being alone, mental and physical fitness scared me.

Serene:- Thought of getting a hot chocolate on my way back. Stopped at the Starbucks near home. Due to Pandemic, they hadn’t opened yet.

Christine:- There really is a blessing in closed doors. If Starbucks was open that day I would have just gone home with a coffee. Instead God allowed that door to be closed for me to meet Serene

Serene:- Saw Christine standing there. We two strangers met at a closed door.
Being kind goes a long way. Tried to turn her disappointment of missing the coffee by suggesting her the nearby Tim Hortons.

Christine- From that walk to Tim Hortons, till we write this, the conversations has just been flowing. And more I know him each passing day, I realize how how kind, generous, loving and responsible he is. I thank  Lord each day for making our paths cross in such an immaculate way.

Serene:- Faith in Lord opening doors at the right time, strengthened.
Christine came as 'the blessing'.

How wondrous His acts!

How perfect His timing!

How lovely His creation!

A lifetime of gratitude!
